A visit as exciting as it is unmissable
Around 1450, some 500 St. Lawrence Iroquoians settled along the La Guerre River, in the current municipality of Saint-Anicet. Five centuries later, farmer François Droulers discovered a small ax in a field... Since then, archaeological excavations have brought to light the remains and artifacts (approximately 500,000!) of the most important Iroquoian village ever discovered in Quebec.

Guided visit and workshops at the Interpretation Center of Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha archaeological site
By the help of archaeological excavations, they rebuilt the village on its original location. Today, it takes us back to the life and fascinating history of the Iroquois in the 15th Century.
