Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa

Visit of the ancient royal fortress of Sigiriya

The "Lion Mountain" is one of the most captivating sites in the country

Visit of the archaeological site of Polonnaruwa

Medieval site and second capital of Ceylon, where are the statues of the three Buddhas, the ruins of the Royal Palace and the Lotus Bath

Polonnaruwa - Hiriwaduna

Visit a local school to spend time with students

Visit of the village of Hiriwaduna, located in the heart of a rice field

Demonstration of sri lankan curry preparation

DAY 5

Hiriwaduna - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy

Visit of the cave temple in Dambulla

Visit spice gardens offering all the native varieties

Demonstration of weaving with coconut branches

Kandy

Kandy - Pinnawela - Kandy

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Discovery of the "country of tea"

DAY 9

Nuwara Eliya - Uda Walawe

Uda Walawe Park, located between Nuwara Eliya and the West Coast
Famous for its hordes of elephants. Declared a National Park in 1972, it covers more than 300 km² in the provinces of Sabaragamuwa and Uva, between the Udawalawe Reservoir and the Walawe River, and offers magnificent views of the mountain range that surrounds it and dominates the rocky escarpments of Balangoda, Kalthota and Haputale

Stop in Tangalle to see the fishermen with their pendulums or suspended on their poles
